Illustrating “water” for Nautilus Magazine

I’ve wanted to work with Len Small, AD at Nautilus Magazine ever since I noticed the steady flow of unconventional illustration he’s commissioned for the unconventional science magazine. These two images are part of an entire issue dedicated to all things “Water”.  In particular, our dependence on it as a species and a world, and also how the search for it shapes the course of our exploration of the universe.

A huge thanks goes out to all the folks at Nautilus.  The world of publishing needs more groundbreakers.
