Brian receives Editorial Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators

Stauffer was awarded a prestigious gold medal in the Illustration 52 editorial show for a cover image illustrating a story about infighting within the Phoenix Police Department for the Phoenix New Times. The illustration is now being featured alongside other winners in the “Book and Editorial Exhibit” at the Museum of American Illustration on New York’s Upper East Side. The exhibit highlights the finest original images commissioned by American newspapers, magazines and book publishers.

Cut To The Drummer Exhibit

Thanks to Sandra Dionisi of The Bepo + Mimi Project for their efforts in putting together this show. The exhibit consisted of 50 portraits of famed drummers by 50 illustrators. My portrait of Goldfinger drummer, Darrin Pfeiffer was sold as part of an auction benefitting MS.
